The tour will start picking you up from the dock or other places you arrive. Fisrt town today is Lucca, the city of 100 churches, can’t be really visited in just few hrs, but it may be enough to taste its essence and glimpse its artistic treasures to make you want to return and spend more time exploring its more hidden attractions. After Lucca, we go to Pisa, Roman colony and important naval base and trading port for the Romans. We will visit its most celebrated attraction, the Leaning Tower (people interested in climbing the tower have to book tickets for either at 8:45 am or 9.00 am). At the “Field of Miracles” we can see the Leaning Tower, the cathedral, the “Campo Santo” cemetery, the Baptistery, and the cathedral museum. Second stop is now Florence (we drive through the Tuscan countryside for about 1 hour), the monumental Piazzale Michelangelo, th Accademia’s Gallery, the Baptistery and the Duomo will give you one of the most spectacular exemple of an Italian histocal town. Close we have Piazza della Signoria and the church of Santa Croce to see the (tombs of artists and philosophers). Time permitting we get a quick stop for shopping at the famous leather market. Note: museums are closed on Mondays. Then we will drive you to the dock or others places you prefer, in time for departure.
