CIVITA DI BAGNOREGIO, “THE DYING CITY”
Civita sits on top of a hill at the height of 443 meters above sea level and seems a surreal city, as it can exist only in the minds of dreamers or adventurers.
In autumn and in certain mornings of fog, the small village of houses, seems to float “magically” supported by the steam on the edge of the unreal, Civita is connected to the mainland by a single slender bridge, the saddle on which passed a time access road, in three centuries has dropped by about 40 meters.
